Modelogix is a cost-modeling tool that leverages historical project-cost data and integrates with leading cost-tracking solutions like Microsoft Excel and WinEst. Its Query API enhances business intelligence by integrating Modelogix data with existing BI tools. Data is stored in a user-defined cost structure and is easily accessible throughout your company.

See how your cost model stacks up against past projects of similar scope. Identify cost outliers that provide opportunities for adjusting the model to fit the owner’s funding constraints. View and compare your cost model side-by-side with the project estimates that formed the basis of the model.

Use selected project attributes to search all of your historical data to find the right mix of projects for your new cost model. Not only do you have access to your historical data, but Modelogix also tells the complete story for each project by including all relevant supporting documents.

The best way is to create a “closed loop” workflow. First, a feasibility budget is developed based on past project costs. Then, a detailed estimate is prepared using owner specifications. This estimate is used for budgets in project management, ERP and accounting solutions. After the project, actual costs can be sent back to Modelogix for future use.

Modelogix enables you to easily design and print a proposal that reflects your company’s quality, professionalism and attention to detail. It provides professional, customizable templates to give you a leg-up on the competition.

Instead of the old go-to routine of preconstruction spending two or three days creating a conceptual budget, today with Modelogix they can do that in two to three hours.
Today, and every day since we were founded in 1978, the world's most trusted companies turn to Trimble for a better way to work to be more efficient, productive and profitable.

A conceptual estimate in construction is an early-stage, high-level projection of a project's cost and time, prepared before detailed designs are finalized. It uses historical data, sketches and broad assumptions to evaluate feasibility, set initial budgets and guide decision-making.
Modelogix capturess, benchmark and analyzes structured historical cost data in a secure, centralized database. Imported data is tagged with cost driving attributes for enhanced searchability. The structured and attributed project cost information can then be used to build cost models within the application.
By leveraging historical costs in the conceptual estimating process, Modelogix can dramatically reduce the time spent producing an early-phase budget for the owner, also improving the budgets accuracy. Additionally, estimators use Modelogix to benchmark their Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) estimates against historical projects of similar scope for greater confidence prior to providing it to the owner.
Modelogix integrates with WinEst by importing detailed estimates to build a historical cost database, then exporting conceptual models back into WinEst as a starting point for new estimates—creating a loop between conceptual planning and detailed estimating.
